Ok, ok, 9.5cm isn’t exactly a record worth bragging about, but when we’re talking early November stow it just might be!
A cold front from the U.S. brought significant snowfall into southern and eastern Ontario, with Toronto actually beating us here in Ottawa with 13.6 cm on Monday, a record for that city as well.
The snowfall transformed the region overnight from the usual grey/brown, rainy post-halloween blahs to a white winter wonderland, and should help kickstart winter activities in the region!
I’ve already seen pics from some of the ski hills and the groomers at SJAM are out seeing what can be done with the early snowfall.
A lot of people are whining about snow in November, but I think most of our readers will agree: bring it on!!
