Snowshoes Under the Stars

Spend Friday evenings snowshoeing with an experienced Friends of Gatineau Park nature interpreter. Hiking in the moonlight, you will discover how animals survive winter ! This interpretative hike covers approximately 3km. As this is considered a light aerobic activity and the weather is usually colder in the evenings, please dress accordingly . Fun, discoveries, hot chocolate in front of a wood stove, and heart-warming encounters are waiting for you. Come add your smile and your energy! For whom? This activity is for everyone (minimum age: 8 years old). No snowshoeing experience necessary.

Please note that while the hike is considered easy, there are a few slopes and hills. Registration mandatory. What to bring? Your snowshoes! You don’t have any? No problem, when registering, select options that include snowshoe rental (free for children). Arrival time? Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity for processing.
