    The Rideau Canal Skateway receives over a million skater visits every year and is famous for being the largest naturally frozen ice rink in the world. In 2007, the Rideau Canal was designated a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), after making it to the Guinness Book of World Records in 2005!

    Facilities
    WashroomsWashrooms are open weekdays, from 8 am to 10 pm from Sundays to Thursdays, and from 8 am to 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. All washrooms are universally accessible.Located on the ice near the following:

    Located on land at:
