    Ottawa Sledding and Tobagganing hills

    The City of Ottawa has opened its 56 approved sledding hills. Outdoors enthusiasts are invited to sled while weather and hill conditions permit, and to keep personal safety in mind while sledding.

Caution restricted use: East side of the hill fronts on Cambrian Road creating a vehicle hazard. South side of the hill has an open storm water pond hazard. West side of the hill has a fence hazard. Sledding is not permitted on the east, south and west sides of the hill.

Caution: light post wrapped, two trees with hay sack, wooden snow fence at top of hill through treed area to stop sledding into rail fence between the roadway.

Gradual to semi-steep slop, wide vision lines, long run offs, unlit, parking is provided at Terry Fox Athletic Facility. Caution: Trees and lampposts in area are wrapped with padding. Sledders are cautioned that the chain-link fence to the north side of the hill is a potential collision hazard.

    Utman Park280 Mount ChannonMedium neighbourhood natural hil. Long runs in open area. Parking lot, however not maintained in winter season. Gradual slope, no obstructions in 99% of area. Caution soccer goal posts in one remote area.
