HARDCORE MOUNTAIN BIKERS, GET READY TO BIKE.
Camp Fortune hosts an extensive network of mountain biking trails a surprisingly short 15 minutes drive from Ottawa. Ottawa mountain bikers will find significant vertical to climb and descend. Camp Fortune trails have been upgraded and are in great shape thanks to a rigorous maintenance schedule.
Note: Mountain bike riding at Camp Fortune tests even the best of riders. Our course is recommended for both intermediate and expert technical riders.
CROSS COUNTRY RACE SERIES AND DOWNHILL RACES
The Sunset Series should not be missed. Join youth, novice, sport, expert and elite riders on the hill every second Wednesday of the summer. The series costs $90 for the season (7 races) or $20 per race. Share your harrowing tales at the end of each race at a Camp Fortune BBQ. ( read more… )
GET PUMPED. CHECK OUT THE PUMP TRACK AT CAMP FORTUNE.
Located at the intersection of Humdinger and Slalom. The track will be used by Camp Fortune Mountain Bike Kids Camp during the day, but is open to all bikers who want to play and improve their bike handling skills. Riders take note, the pump track is a small one and is better suited to hard tails, bmx and jump bikes. Ride at your own risk, but be sure to have fun.
MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMPS FOR KIDS
Camp Fortune is the venue for the mountainbikekids.com summer camps. Beginners will learn safe mountain bike techniques. Intermediate bikers will perfect their technique. Regardless of the skill level, all bikers who finish the camp will ride the cross country terrain with new confidence and improved ability. ( read more… )

Like your adrenaline snow-covered? Want to spend time with your kids but not their computers? Want to see vast stretches of white spreading out in front you? Want to master a 180 Grind? Camp Fortune is but a hard-packed snowball’s throw away.
Camp Fortune also has an indoor mini skateboard ramp located in the old Cassel Lodge, now known as the Camp Fortune/Oaks Clubhouse. Skate sessions cost $10 for a 2 hour block. Helmets are mandatory. The Clubhouse also includes a lounge area with some games. See photos in gallery below

Camp Fortune offers a Terrain Park for all abilities with a selection of jumps, rails, boxes and a wall. Full snowmaking capability and excellent grooming ensure a great experience for beginners to expert skiers and snowboarders alike.
The Acrobag is a giant inflatable airbag that lets you push the limits of freestyle sports in a safer environment. The bag can be used by beginners to pros. A liability waiver needs to be signed and an acrobag pass must also be purchased in addition to your lift ticket or season pass. Operation will depend on weather and it will not be open during high winds and on days colder than -20. 2014 dates to come Waiver is required with parental or guardian signature for those under 18 yrs. All participants must complete this waiver (also available at customer service).
