Looking to fill those long days at the desk with thoughts of the outdoors? I always am. So I was intrigued when I came across a discussion in the Ontario Backcountry Camping Facebook group about good backpacking and bushcraft podcasts.

Contributors listed a whole bunch of their favourite outdoor story tellers, researchers, and sources for tips and tricks, and I’ve curated the list for our readers below.

Some of these I listen to, others were new to me too:

Backbacker Radio

From the Appalachian Trail to the Pacific Crest and everything in between. Backpacker Radio is a show all about the wonderful world that is thru-hiking and long distance backpacking. Co-hosts, Zach “Badger” Davis and Juliana “Chaunce” Chauncey muse on the backpacking life and the latest from the trail every other week. Topics include but are not limited to news, trail culture, interviews, gear, advice, and all you can eat buffets.
