Ottawa Bicycle Paths

With hundreds of kilometers of paths, Ottawa is one of the most bike-friendly cities in Canada. The NCC and the City of Ottawa work together to maintain a massive network of trails stretching from south of the city to Gatineau Park and from Rockland in the east to Kanata and Aylmer.

NCC Pathway

Ottawa and Gatineau are home to one of Canada's largest networks of cycling paths - the Capital Pathway network. More than 180 kilometres of recreational pathways link gorgeous rivers, the Rideau Canal, parks, gardens, museums and attractions.

Alcatel-Lucent Sunday Bikedays

Hop on your bike, pull on your inline skates, and hit the parkways — they’re closed to motor vehicles every Sunday morning from May 23 to September 5. More than 50 kilometres of pure fun!

The city of Ottawa is pretty committed to cylcing around the city. They maintain a proprietary interactive map that lets you explore all of the NCC Pathways, Ottawa bike lanes, shoulders, off-road paths and more. You can also nab a .pdf version of the City of Ottawa Cycling Paths map.
